On this page we will give you a base idea of how our pricing works. No price is final until agreed upon but this is a rough outline of how we determine our estimates.
Our team is there to try and make this as smooth as possible, they have the training and knowledge to give a fair and reasonable estimate. The pricing here will vary from the estimate, this is just an attempt to give customers a ballpark figure before even needing an estimate. Stump & Dump's business model relies on repeat customers through our honest and reliable service, we hope to work with you.
Basic stump under 16" diameter
$5 per inch across the diameter. Soft woods include pine, spruce, fir, cedar. A good rule of thumb is if it bears needles.
Hardwood Stump
$10 per inch across the diameter. Hardwoods include oak, maple, birch, beech, cherry, ash, poplar.
Top Soil fill in
$35 per cubic foot this is if the customer would like the affected area cleaned and refilled with top soil.
Over 16" diameter
$7 per inch across the diameter. Soft woods include pine, spruce, fir, cedar. A good rule of thumb is if it bears needles.
Rocky Soil
$12 per inch this is a rough estimate because it depends on the exact state of the soil and the damage the machines and employes may sustain.
Debris Removal
$2 per inch across the diameter. This also includes raking the affected area.
Less Common Services
Grass Seed
$50 per 1000 square feet. The $50 charge is also the minimum cost for this service.
Chainsaw
$1 per inch of diameter. We do not do tree removal. The chainsaw is used if it is deemed the stump is not cut low enough to the ground.
Sapling Replant
$75 per sapling. This is the replant value if we can get a sapling of the variety the customer wishes. This does not include the price of the sapling which is a seperate fee.
